England midfielder Adam Lallana is set to become Liverpool’s first summer signing as manager Brendan Rodgers prepares for European football next season. Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr is prepared to sanction the sale according to the Daily Mirror.

Lallana a boyhood Everton fan is also said to be in favour of the move with Liverpool prepared to offer him a four-year contract while also doubling his current £35,000 per-week wages.
Lallana has said nothing publically about the move, and will have no intention of creating any ill will towards the club he joined as a 12-year-old as he prepares to head to Brazil with Roy Hodgeson’s World Cup squad.
