Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has reportedly been learning English ahead of a move to Manchester United as the Red Devils prepare to lose goalkeeper David De Gea to the Spanish giants.

Ramos has emerged as a surprise candidate to move to the Premiership, but given the fact Real Madrid has let his contract enter its final two years, something that never happens at the Santiago Bernabeu if the club has plans to keep a player, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal plans to take advantage of the situation by making Ramos a part of the deal for De Gea by offering the Spanish keeper and £21.4 million for the very experienced defender.

And according to Spanish sports daily AS, Ramos has already decided he wants to leave Madrid after no one at the club was prepared to deny rumours that he was going to be sold to rivals Barcelona.

Manchester United apparently approached the 29-year-old in April over a move to Old Trafford and told him that they would double what he currently earns in Madrid.

If this deal comes off it will be massive for Manchester United and exciting for the fans who will be hoping that Ramos fares better in his first season that did former Real Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria.
