Manchester United winger Nani looks set to join Istanbul club Fenerbahce after a successful season on loan in Portugal playing for his former club Sporting Lisbon.

The 28-year-old will jet out to Turkey today for his medical and put pen to paper signing a four-year deal that is worth £2.8 million per-season.

Sporting Lisbon meanwhile were disappointed that they were unable to keep him, but the Turkish clubs financial clout was too great for the Portuguese side to compete against.

Manchester United will receive a £6 million fee, as manager Louis van Gaal gets yet another player off the clubs books who he deems surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
