Sky Sports is reporting that Tottenham have yet to agree a deal for Bale with more than one club interested in the Welsh winger.
Real Madrid were thought to have finalized a deal for Bale last night, but sources are reporting that an English club made contact over Bale three weeks ago, with also interest from two other clubs in Europe but it is not known if anyone has made a formal offer.
Speculation is that it is Manchester United who have entered the race for Bale, and that the club has the resources to make it happen.
Sky sources say enquiries were made a few weeks ago from an English club and two from Europe – but it’s unknown whether those clubs made a formal offer for Bale.
