German sports magazine Kicker has spoken to Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc to get the latest on who the club will be letting go this summer following the recent announcement that enigmatic trainer Jürgen Klopp would be leaving Signal Iduna Park at the end of the season sparking rumours that many of the teams current players will also be looking to leave the North Rhine Westphalia club.

Two names being mentioned in the British press are defender Mats Hummels and midfielder Ilkay Gündogan who have both been linked with moves to Old Trafford. When asked about this Zorc said that they had received no bids for Hummels, but that a decision over about Ilkay Gündogan’s future could be made next week.

On any interaction with Manchester United in general Zorc told Kicker: There is no signature, no contract, no offer, no demand, there is not even any contact. The last time I spoke with Manchester United was in November 2014 and it was about something else.
