Chelsea’s interest in Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder has suffered a blow after the 24-year-old told French television show Telefoot that he would like to play for Paris Saint-Germain.
Chelsea was looking at the Brazilian back in January but signed Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina instead with the assumption that they would return for the £20 million rated Costa in the summer.
They now however may find it a little more difficult now that the French Champions are in the same marketplace.
Costa said: ‘I like PSG a lot. They have become an enormous club and it would be a pleasure to wear that shirt.’
