Mesut Özil to Arsenal is the big name signing all Arsenal fans have been waiting for with the news out of Spain saying that Real Madrid have accepted an offer of 50 million euros which would equate to £42.4m, smashing the Arsenal transfer record by about £30 million.
The 24-year-old midfielder has agreed personal terms, and will undergo a medical in Germany where he is currently on international duty.
