BeIN SPORTS reporter Matt Critchley believes that Manchester United will fire manager Louis van Gaal within the next 24 to 48 hours.

Things have not being going to well for United of late after being knocked out of the Champions League by Wolfsburg they then suffered a 2-1 loss away to lowly Bournemouth in the league before coming a cropper once more to Norwich City losing 2-1 at Old Trafford.

This latest run of poor results and the boring style of possession based play van Gaal wants his team to adopt has many Red Devil’s fans calling for the Dutchman to be sacked, and a new manager installed who will bring back the exciting attacking style of football they are used to watching at Old Trafford.

‘It does feel as though something big could be about to happen in the next perhaps 24-48 hours. We wait to hear from the club,’ Critchley told beIN SPORTS.

Rumours suggest former Chelsea manager Jose could be in line for the job at Old Trafford, but here at Soccer Transfer we would rather see Ryan Giggs take over because in Mourinho yet get a similar defensive mind-set to LVG, except the Portuguese manager prefers to park the bus rather than keep hold of the ball.
