Manchester United has made the move to find David De Gea’s replacement at Old Trafford and is poised to offer Atletico Madrid £21.5 million for Slovenian international keeper Jan Oblak.
Atletico meanwhile have a £30 million buyout clause attached to the 22-year-old, but Manchester United has been told that a reasonable bid over £21 million should be enough to secure the transfer.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal’s sees Oblak as an excellent replacement for De Gea and given his age feels he can become as good as the Spanish international.
