Spanish World Cup winner CHOOSES Chelsea over Arsenal

After now seeing the arrival of Arda Turan at the Nou Camp, Barcelona winger Pedro is rethinking his options about remaining with the Catalan giants after having already fallen down trainer Luis Enrique’s pecking order since the arrival of Neymar and Luis Suarez at the club.

Arsenal and Liverpool have already made approaches to Barcelona, but Barcelona mouth-piece, Spanish newspaper Sport has said that the 27-year-old has turned down Arsenal after both Cesc Fabregas and Jose Mourinho convinced him to sign for Chelsea.

The main worry for Pedro was his lack of English, but fellow Spanish international and former Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas has told him there will be no problem as the clubs dressing room is full of Spanish speakers.

Having now agreed terms with the player Chelsea will trigger Pedro’s release clause with a £21.6 million bid.
