Manchester United is edging ever closer to signing Athletic Bilbao star Aymeric Laporte, and according to news coming out of Spain the deal is 80% done.
Laporte who just happens to be a United fan is considered to be one of the best young defensive talents in the world.
United manager LVG sees the 20-year-old as a shrewd investment for the future as he makes defensive signings a priority at Old Trafford.
Laporte is also being scouted by Chelsea and Arsenal.
