Despite just selling Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain for £44 million the Red Devils are reluctant to meet Barcelona’s £22 million buyout clause for 28-year-old Spanish international winger Pedro.
United would like to pay around £17 million for the forward as they feel that Pedro has no real sale value next summer , and that the Catalans take it or leave it price is too high.
Meanwhile Barcelona said they would be happy to see Pedro stay at the Nou Camp, and will not entertain any offer less than their £22 million asking price.
