Manchester United has been told that their bid of £57.4 million for Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller is not enough as talks continue over other players and not just the 25-year-old German international.

This is a truly amazing bid from the Red Devils, and according to L’Equipe the talks are on-going concerning several players from both teams, which means they could also include the futures of Bastian Schweinsteiger and United’s Angel Di Maria.

It is hard for us to imagine the German giants turning down such a huge bid for Muller and can only mean he is not for sale.

With Radamel Falcao now gone and Robin van Persie on his way to Turkey signing a top striker or two most be a priority for Louis van Gaal, but it is appearing as though it will not be Muller.
