Manchester United boss looking at German defender

With Manchester United manager David Moyes having a rough first season with the Red Devils he plans to spend his way out of trouble for next season by signing some big name players to the Northwest club.

According to German daily newspaper Bild United manager Moyes is once again looking to the Bundesliga for new talent for United this time traveling to Germany to watch £10million-rated defender Matthias Ginter play for Freiburg in their away match against Hertha Berlin which incidentally finished 0-0.

The 20-year-old centre-back is said to be one of the best young defenders in Germany who is not only on United’s radar but being tracked by Arsenal and Bayern Munich as well.

Yet with Vidic leaving and Rio Ferdinand likely to fellow Moyes needs to have a couple of defenders lined up ready to sign in the summer.

On Saturday Moyes was spotted in Munich watching the one man he would love to see at Old Trafford next season Toni Kroos player for Bayern in their 5-1 thrashing of Schalke 04 adding to speculation that United will make a move to sign him in early June.
