Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic becomes a free agent this summer, and having not as yet signed a new deal with the French Champions was wildly expected to make a move to the English Premier League after having been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United.

The 34-year-old Swedish international has never played football in England, but has tasted success with every team he has played for in Europe which includes Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona and both Inter and AC Milan.

In the past the Swedish forward has hinted about moving to play in England, and this morning French daily sports publication L’Equipe claims that so far at least only Manchester United have approached the PSG star with a serious offer.

However there could be a hiccup in any move with Sky Sports reporting via the Daily Star that Ibrahimovic would not go to Old Trafford if Dutchman Louis van Gaal was still the manager.

As things stand at the moment it would appear as though former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is poised to take over, a situation the Swede would like following the pairs time together winning the European Cup while at Inter Milan.
