Manchester United and Arsenal have now both entered the race along with Manchester City for former Chelsea player Kevin De Bruyne.
De Bruyne left Stamford Bridge last January for £18 million disappointed about the lack of playing time he was being given by Jose Mourinho.
Now playing in the Bundesliga for Wolfsburg the 23-year-old attacking midfielder has proven he is no slouch scoring three goals with 10 assists in his 17 appearances so far this season.
Last month Manchester City was linked with a £30 million bid for the former Genk star, but it looks like his price could rise now other clubs are involved.
The player’s agent Patrick De Koster said: “I know some clubs are interested in him.”
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking added: “It is normal that clubs like Manchester United deal with top people.
“This is recognition of his and our work.”
