It would appear after weeks of negotiations that Manchester United has now reached an agreement between themselves and Benfica’s Argentinian winger Nicolas Gaitan.

The 27-year-old former Boca Juniors attacking midfielder was all set to leave the Portuguese champions this summer and it would now appears if an agreement has been reached between the Argentinian international and Manchester United, with the Red Devils now due to negotiate with Benfica over his £21.8 million fee.

According to Di Marzio United will try and arrange a player and cash deal that will see last season’s on-loan at Sporting Lisbon winger Nani move to Benfica with the Old Trafford outfit now almost certain to sell Angel Di Maria should they be able to recoup move of their British record transfer fee.
