It would appear as if Manchester United has won the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan despite the 24-year-old having conducted talks with other teams, including Catalan giants Barcelona.
The German Ace had already confirmed months ago that he would be leaving the North Rhine Westphalia team this summer, and while it was believed he had already agreed personal terms with Manchester United this was all cast in doubt when he reportedly had a medical at Barcelona.
Reports now however say the move to Old Trafford will go through and that there will be an announcement in a few days.
