Manchester City is now odds-on favourite to land Paul Pogba

Manchester City has just moved from evens to become odds-on favourites to land Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as the money continues to pour in backing the 22-year-old to return to the other side of Manchester.

With clubs who have the financial clout that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea has, it may be a little too premature to back just one horse, yet that has not stopped the cash being put on the Frenchman to move to the Etihad.

Once a bidding war starts it will be no shock to see should his value rise to 100€ million, and perhaps even a tad higher if it comes to a battle between the two petroleum backed clubs in Manchester and Paris.

City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak promised to bring in “high-quality signings” this summer, and appears now to be ready to put his money where his mouth is.
