Italian Serie A club makes Chelsea winger an INSANE offer

Egyptian international winger Mohamed Salah looks to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer one way or another as a number of suitor’s line-up to provide the 23-year-old with a new home.

One of these clubs is Fiorentina where he spent the second half of last season on loan as part of the deal that saw Colombian wide man Juan Cuadrado move to London.

The Florence based club now has the right to buy Salah for 18€ million or to try and extend the loan with Chelsea.

Meanwhile club director Vincenzo Guerini has confirmed they have made a substantial offer to the player.

“I tell the fans that the club made an insane offer to Salah,” he said.

“If any player, not just Salah, turned down a proposal like that, then it’s best he doesn’t stay at Fiorentina. However, I think Salah will accept.

“He made a huge impact with us, so it’s normal that he should receive calls from elsewhere. He wants to earn more, but Fiorentina made a truly important proposal.”

Reports in Italy suggest Fiorentina has offed Salah a wage of 3€ million a year to remain with them.

The question now is whether he will accept or not.
