As Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers prepares to take the Reds back into European football the Northern Irishman is looking to add experience to his mainly youthful squad, and with that in mind is once more showing interest in Mali star Seydou Keita.

The former Barcelona man snubbed Liverpool for Valencia back in January by signing a six month contract with the club, but reports are now suggesting that he will not stay at the Mestalla and could be tempted with Champions League football at Anfield.

At 34-years-old Keita would certainly add experience to the squad and with Liverpool involved not only domestically but also in Europe he is sure to get playing time under Rodgers.
