The Liverpool transfer speculation adds another name to the list of Brendan Rodgers summer targets this summer with the Daily Star saying the Reds are ready to make a move for one of the men that helped ruin their dream of winning the Premiership Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie.

Liverpool have made an offer for the 25-year-old Congolese international winger after manager Brendan Rodgers has followed his progression up through the ranks of English football since the days he played for Plymouth.

Bolasie will certainly not break the Anfield bank being valued at only £2.5 million, but what Rodgers likes about him is his ability to play on either flank.

Bolasie only has one year remaining on his current contract which has attracted interest from Italy and Spain, but should Liverpool decide they want him it will be difficult for Palace to say no.
