Chelsea’s long serving Frank Lampard is still hanging on in the hope that the Blues will offer him a 12-month extension to his current contract, but knows he has the option of joining QPR and playing under his uncle Harry Redknapp.

The Daily Star is reporting that should Lampard move to Loftus Road he would be made team captain and would receive £60,000 per-week in wages.

His uncle Harry envisions Frank playing as a deep midfielder similar to Steven Gerrard’s new role at Liverpool.
Chelsea meanwhile seem to have no urgency in offering Lampard a new contract with owner Roman Abramovich having mixed feelings about keeping a player who will turn 36 next month.
