Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers might just be feeling a little more pressure than usual today knowing that the clubs owner John W. Henry is flying in with his wife Linda Pizzuti to watch the match against Spurs.
Henry is also the owner of the Boston Red Sox and the city’s biggest newspaper The Boston Globe and due to his interests in America is very rarely in attendance for Liverpool matches.
A couple of Liverpool fans with apparently inside information contacted the owners wife on Twitter to ask if the rumours were true, which she confirmed with her reply that you can read below.
Hopefully history will be on Liverpool’s side for tonight’s match with the owner in the house with the Reds only having lost once against Spurs in their last 20 meetings at Anfield.
Should Liverpool win tonight they would move to within one point of Tottenham poised for a top four finish.
