Some interesting news coming out of Spain today regarding the future of Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya, who has been linked with Liverpool this transfer window.
And despite being recalled to manager Luis Enrique’s squad the 23-year-old still seems determined to leave the Nou Camp during this transfer window if you listen to his agent.
“Since we wrote to the club, Martin has played four times,” Juan Dios Carrasco told Spanish radio station Cope.
“This made us happy. We would rather he is on the pitch than on the bench or in the stands.
“But our idea is still the same and the player wants to leave.
“We are waiting for the club to select a new sporting director so we can speak with him and find the best possible solution.
