According to reports out of Spain this morning Liverpool has renewed their interest in Valencia striker Paco Alcacer.

According to Spanish sports newspaper MARCA, Valencia is keen to extend the 21-year-old Spanish internationals contract to keep him at the Mestalla for years to come, but he appears to be stalling on signing a new contract.

Liverpool meanwhile want to improve their attacking options and the inform striker has scored 8 goals in 16 appearances this season and is the right age to fit in with the team manager Brendan Rodgers is building for the future.

The Reds have apparently spoke to the players agent, but will have to act quickly if they hope to sign him this January.

Meanwhile Tottenham and AC Milan also are looking at Alcacer, who is reportedly worth £20 million.
