According to reports coming out of Portugal Liverpool may have found Raheem Sterling’s replacement in Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio after his agent and Benfica club president Luis Filipe Vieira were spotted boarding a plane to England.

Salvio has been linked with a move to Anfield for some time, and it now appears as if the 24-year-old is set to leave the Portuguese champions this summer.

Salvio’s agents Jorge Mendes also represent his teammate Nico Gaitan who is reportedly ready to join a mystery club in England, paving the way to set up a deal for Liverpool to sign Salvio.

The Argentinian international has enjoyed a good season in Portugal scoring 13 goals while providing 11 assists.

Benfica will be looking to get top dollar for one of their star players, but if Liverpool negotiates right they could get him for a cut down price which we expect will be around £26 million.
