With his desire to leave Liverpool this summer now out in the open Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling’s next club if he were to pick it would be Arsenal according to the Daily Star.

The 20-year-old has rejected any moves to sign a new contract at Anfield, and now despite Liverpool saying he is not for sale looks set to leave Merseyside this summer with London his preferred destination.

Despite being born in Kingstown Jamaica, Sterling grew up in Wembley and is said to miss life in London, and while he may have offers from Manchester City and clubs abroad, he has the chance to prove it was never about the money as he claimed in his BBC interview, and join the Gunners on the same £100,000 per-week Liverpool were offering to pay him.

Should a deal go through it would once more ask the question about England forward Theo Walcott and his future at the Emirates.
