With Raheem Sterling almost certainly likely to leave Anfield this summer Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers knows he needs to bring in an attacking option and just may well have found it in Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The 30-year-old Argentinian international is a quality player who still has plenty of pace and would provided Liverpool with just the kind of attacking player they need following a season which saw the Merseyside club fail miserably in the goal-scoring department.

Lavezzi meanwhile has found himself side-lined in Laurent Blanc’s team and is looking for a summer move away from the French Champions according to Fichajes.net, and while Liverpool could be an interesting destination Tottenham and Valencia are also said to have put bids on the table for the Winger.
