Kelly Smith and Ellen White have been recalled to the England squad for the friendly with France on 20 October.
Smith missed the 3-0 win over Croatia that sealed qualification for Euro 2013, with a thigh problem, while fellow forward White was suspended.
Everton’s Toni Duggan and Arsenal’s Jordan Nobbs are also included.
“It is the first match of our European Championship preparations and it will set the tone for the next nine months,” coach Hope Powell said.
She added: “This is a really good test for us to end the year. We need to test ourselves against the best teams on the continent and France are top class opposition.”
The draw for the European Championship takes place on 9 November.
