According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport Italian Champions Juventus have entered the race for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain knowing that the Argentinian striker wants to leave Napoli after the club failed to qualify for next seasons Champions League.

This will come as bad news for both Arsenal and Manchester United with both the Premiership giants looking to add a world-class striker to their teams.

The Italian sports daily goes so far as to say that both clubs have already been in talks with his brother and agent Nicolas, but that Juventus could now be favourites to land the 27-year-old knowing that they may lose Carlos Tevez.
