Arsenal has apparently been given the green light to sign Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal from Juventus amid talk the club will hold on to the much wanted Paul Pogba for another season at least.

If this news is true as Tuttomercatoweb say it is, Vidal will be free to join his international teammate Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates with the blessing of Juventus trainer Massimiliano Allegri.

There is certainly no lacking the commitment of the box-to-box midfielder who if we have to be honest, thought he was lucky not to be sent off in the first half against Barcelona in the Champions League final 3-1 loss to Barcelona in Berlin on Saturday night.

Saying that though we feel he is exactly the type of player the Gunners need to push them to win the Premiership and feel he would be a great addition at the Emirates.

All that is left to do now is for manager Arsene Wenger to get his cheque book out and sign the 28-year-old before some other club beats him to the punch.
