Jens Lehmann talks about Podolski going to Arsenal

The German striker has continually been linked to a move to the Emirates this summer has scored 17 goals in Bundesliga action this season for the Billy Goats.

With the former Arsenal player Lehmann when speaking to the German daily Bild saying: “He is quick, dangerous in front of the goal, and has a good pass. I’m happy for him if he soon joins Arsenal.”

“It won’t be easy though. He will have to get used to the pace [in the Premier League]. And he will have to realise that participating is not enough. You must win. Expectations are very high.”

Since the talk of Podolski departure his current team Koln have not been doing very well dropping to 16th spot in the league after losing their last three games.
