Italian national team coach Cesare Prandelli has suffered a serious blow in his World Cup preparations after seeing AC Milan star Riccardo Montolivo stretchered off with a suspected broken leg just 15 minutes into a friendly game with the Republic of Ireland at Craven Cottage that ended 0-0.
The Italian captain was a regular starter in Prandelli’s team with 57 caps for Italy leaving the Italian trainer with yet more decisions to make ahead of their opening World Cup Group D match with England on the 14th of June in Manaus.
