Liverpool striker Luis Suarez’s lawyer Alejandro Balbi told Cadena SER that his client has a natural “predisposition for Spain “and that it would be almost impossible for him to say no to Real Madrid if they decided to try and sign him.

“A year ago he was very likely to leave Liverpool,” Alejandro Balbi said.

“Now I think it is very difficult because he is an idol, although clubs can offer a lot of money.

“If there is such a big offer from Real Madrid, it would be very difficult to say no. Luis Suarez has always had a predisposition for Spain.”

The Uruguayan striker came close to leaving Anfield last summer, yet has come back to lead the Reds to their best finish in years winning the Golden Boot plus the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Player of the Year.

Now away in South America preparing for the World Cup the Premiership’s leading scorer is focused on the tournament and has repeatedly said that he is very happy at Liverpool.

The question remains however back in the real Madrid boardroom as to whether club president Florentino Perez is looking at the 27-year-old to become his new Galatico fresh off the back of just winning the Champions League crown for the 10th time.
