After having been talked about for weeks and the speculation of seeing QPR striker Loic Remy at a recent Gunners game METRO is reporting that the French international has agreed terms to join Arsenal.

After having spent last season on loan with Newcastle United the 27-year-old said that he was looking to play Champions League football next season and has decided on Arsenal despite also being linked to Chelsea and Liverpool.

The report suggests that Arsenal will pay £10 million for his services and goes against what Arsene Wenger said when he told reporters that he did not expect to get any transfer business done until after the World Cup.

Remy will prove to be a useful addition to Arsenal taking a lot of the pressure off current lone striker Olivier Giroud and could also signal that Wenger is prepared to spend the £100 million he has reportedly been given for new players.
