Reports coming out of Spain this morning are saying that Chelsea’s new interim manager Guus Hiddink has been given the green light by the board to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez, according to Fichajes.

The 24-year-old Colombian international midfielder has not been getting along with Los Blanco’s trainer Rafa Benitez with the understanding now that should the Spanish giants receive what they consider to be a realistic bid for Rodriguez in January they will let him leave.

Dutch manager Hiddink was names Chelsea boss over the weekend and the 69-year-old is wasting no time in figuring out how he is going to save the Blues season following their train wreck start.
