Welsh winger Gareth Bale has now joined Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez in letting Manchester United know that he is not interested in moving to Old Trafford.

Bale joined Los Blancos just 18 months ago from Tottenham for a world-record transfer fee of £85 million, but has been tipped to join United in the summer after speculation the Red Devils would pay £100 to have him back in the Premiership.

The 25-year-old has scored 33 goals in 66 games for the Champions League winners and is targeting future success with the Spanish giants ruling out any departure from the Santiago Bernabeu anytime soon.

“Manchester United? I’m happy in Madrid. I love the city, the weather and the club,” Bale told Spanish sports newspaper Marca.
