Forget all the Hulk Hype as it will never happen at Arsenal

Michael Stafford a sports journalist at American broadcasters NBC is claiming that Arsenal has had a £26.5 million bid for Zenit St. Petersburg’s Brazilian striker Hulk accepted by the Russian club after earlier seeing a £20 million bid rejected.

Of course it would be great if Arsenal could land an aggressive front man such as Hulk, but here at Soccer Transfers we find it hard to believe that Zenit would let Hulk leave for less than the £40 million they paid Porto for him.

Add to this the fact Hulk is one of the highest earning players in the world making around five million euro’s a year in salary alone it just does not sound like the kind of deal Arsene Wenger would make or even try and go after.

Hulk also now has his former manager Andres Villas Boas at Zenit, the very same man he enjoyed all his success while playing under him in Portugal with Porto.
The fact remains that Arsenal need a top class striker, but in our opinion it is not going to be Hulk, but could very well be Karim Benzema should Real Madrid go all out to sign Luis Suarez.
