According to reports coming out of Portugal Porto midfielder Fernando has agreed to join the Premiership champions for £15 million and will be flying out to Manchester in the next few days to put pen to paper.

City had originally tried to sign the Brazilian born midfielder back in January as part of a double deal that included defender Eliaquim Mangala but failed to agree a price for the pair.

Now however after only targeting the 26-year-old Fernando, Portuguese newspaper Diario de Notícias claims that city have agreed to pay Porto between £12-16million.
