Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria has met with manager Louis van Gaal and told the Dutchman he wants to stay at Old Trafford and plans to extend a lease on a new home for him and his family.
The British record £59.7 million signing is in discussions over a city centre apartment he is renting and seems now to have recovered following an attempted home invasion at the £4 million Cheshire mansion he was living in back in early February.
Following the incident it looked as though he might quit England but so far at least he now seems happy once more and is ready to fight for his place in the team.
