Barcelona star defender Dani Alves has come out and told the Premiership trio of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal that he plans on going nowhere in January and that he wants to see out his contract with Barcelona.

Alves is very much a part of Barcelona manager Luis Enrique’s plans having made 17 appearances so far this season, but the 31-year-olds contract is up at the Nou Camp next summer adding to speculation over the Brazilians future.

‘I’m not interested in negotiating an exit. I’m going to end my contract and then we will see,’ he said.

With an extension not yet signed with the Catalan giants Alves is at liberty to sign a pre-season contract with a foreign club during the January transfer window.
