The agent of Barcelona right-back Marc Barta Javier Diaz has denied that at any time Arsenal has approached him over a move for the 24-year-old defender.
Recent reports in Spain have been linking the La Masia academy graduate not only with Arsenal, but with other top European clubs as well; something while Diaz claims is false.
“I represent Marc. The information is not true,” Diaz wrote on Twitter.
“Marc has not negotiated with any team.
“He never had any intention of leaving.”
While Barta is yet to become a household name, he has featured for trainer Luis Enrique, and appears to have a future at the Nou Camp.
