Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to add some bite to his attack this summer, with his number one priority to sign a striker that can partner last season’s break through player Harry Kane.
The Argentinian manager identified West Brom’s Saido Berahino as the man he wants as far back as January, but the Baggies refused to sell, while hoping to tie the England international down to a new long-term deal.
Unfortunately the 21-year-old missed the European U21 Championships in the Czech Republic through injury this summer, and given the fact he is valued at around £15 million while on a salary of only £15,000 per-week, should Tottenham go all out it will be hard for Tony Pullis to keep him at the Hawthorns.
