Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is looking to bolster his attacking options for next season’s campaign, and with that in mind is set to kick off his summer spending with a £22 million bid for Barcelona’s Pedro Rodriguez.
It may not be as straight forward as Chelsea would like despite Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo saying that the 27-year-old wants to leave the Nou Camp after falling down the pecking order since the arrival of first Neymar and then Luis Suarez.
It will be up to Chelsea to convince Pedro that he will get playing time at Stamford Bridge as Arsenal and Inter Milan plan bids of their own for the Spanish international.
