Chelsea is planning a huge £22.1 million bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke according to reports coming out of Spain.
The 23-year-old Spaniard is one of La Liga’s hottest properties after having rejected a move to Barcelona last summer preferring instead to play for Diego Simeone’s side, but it has been known by all that it was only a matter of time before he would decide to leave.
The Blues have been scouting Koke all season and are keen to get a deal wrapped up quickly and avoid a bidding war with Manchester United whose manager Louis van Gaal has a reported £150 million to splash around this summer on new blood for Old Trafford.
