It would now appear as if Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is on his way to Spain after Chelsea receives two offers for the Belgium international.

While the Diego Costa move to Stamford Bridge is nearly done and dusted the Daily Mirror is saying that Atletico Madrid would like to take Lukaku on a season long loan to see how things work out.

Chelsea meanwhile is also interested in signing full-back Filipe Luiz and has Atletico pushing that Lukaku has to be a part of any deal.

Valencia however need a top striker and are willing to pay Chelsea £18 million for the centre forward as the La Liga club look to challenge Spain’s top three next season.

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have close ties with Chelsea’s Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois having been with the Spanish club on loan for the past three seasons, but since the signing of goalkeeper Angel Moya from Getafe yesterday Courtois could be on his way back to Stamford Bridge to challenge Petr Cech for the starting position in goal.
