Knowing that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to buy Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Ramires, the Blues manager Jose Mourinho is going to try and make Luka Modric and Raphael Varane to Chelsea a part of any deal according to the Star on Sunday.
The bottom line of the deal is that Real Madrid is ready to offer Chelsea £27 million for Ramires, but Mourinho wants them to add Luka to the sale also for an amount yet to be determined.
Jose Mourinho is a longtime admirer of the creation international and hopes that Ancelotti will be willing to part with him in order to sign Ramires.
Chelsea’s other Madrid target is 21-year-old centre-back Raphael Varane who Mourinho has had his eye on ever since selling David Luiz to French champions Paris Saint-Germaine for £42 million.
