Joel Campbell to play for Arsenal next season

Any Arsenal fan who happened to watch last night’s match between Costa Rica and Uruguay must have been asking the same question we did, and that is why Joel Campbell is not playing for Arsenal?
Campbell proved to be the man-of-the-match in last night’s 3-1 win for Costa Rica scoring one goal while creating another that saw the Central American team take Uruguay apart.

Arsenal signed the 21-year-old Campbell three seasons ago, but since then he has been sent out on a series of loans that now look like coming to an end after Campbell confirmed he will be playing at the Emirates next season according to Goal.com.
“Of course I have to go back because I have a contract with Arsenal,” he told reporters after the game on Saturday, “but the most important thing just now is my country and the World Cup.”

“Today was excellent for me but it would have come to naught without the contribution of my colleagues,” the Arsenal player added. “Everyone lived up to their responsibilities. I tried to do my best to score goals and my colleague supported me.

“We have to take one step after another. We have difficult matches ahead but this will give us impetus.”
