Young Fulham football club striker Moussa Dembele has enjoyed a superb season with the Championship side. At the time of writing this article, he has netted 14 goals in 38 matches which is impressive for a club doing as badly as Fulham. Such is the performance of the French youngster that he has been linked with a move to the likes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal, PSG and the two Manchester clubs.
According to Get French Football, Chelsea have emerged as the most likely destination for the youngster. According to the report, the Blues have started negotiation for the player and the Blues are confident they can beat the rest of the chasing pack to his signature.
With Pato and Falcao’s loan deal unlikely to be made permanent and Diego Costa still unable to stay out of trouble and Remy likely to leave for new pastures, Chelsea will surely be in the market for another striker this summer. The big name stars such as Cavani, Morata, Higuain among others have been linked to the Blues.
It will however be interesting to see what happens if Chelsea manages to sign Moussa Dembele. Will the Blues still bring in another star alongside the Frenchman? Dembele is surely a talented striker but let’s face it, he has just seven minutes experience in the Premier league which he acquired in as far back as 2013 just before Fulham were relegated from the Premier league, he is not a striker the Blues should be depending on for the whole season if they finally want to get into top four that’s.
